Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Lonavala, Member Institute of Indian Yoga Associaiton, in collaboration with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, hosted a vibrant celebration of Yogotsav 2025, marking 35 days to the International Day of Yoga. Embracing this year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the event highlighted the collective commitment to holistic well-being and environmental harmony.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Shrirang Appa Barne ji, Member of Parliament from the Maval constituency of Maharashtra. He was joined by Capt. Subroto Khan of The Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies, and Shri Subodh Tiwari, Secretary and CEO of Kaivalyadhama and Secretary General, Indian Yoga Association. Their insights and encouragement reinforced the importance of integrating yoga into daily life as a means to foster both personal and planetary health.
Yogotsav 2025 witnessed enthusiastic participation from a wide cross-section of society. Cadets and officers from INS Shivaji, Lonavala, and trainees from the Police Training Center, Khandala, actively took part in the celebration. The Great Eastern Institute of Maritime Studies,
Manashakti Research Centre, members of the Jain community, and the Senior Citizen Group lent their support, creating a truly inclusive atmosphere. The alumni of the Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis—the world’s first yoga college—added historical and institutional significance to the gathering. Members from Kaivalyadhama Mumbai and numerous citizens from Lonavala also joined in, making the event a community-wide celebration.
The success of Yogotsav 2025 would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the Lonavala Municipal Corporation (LMC) and the Lonavala Police Team, whose efforts ensured the event was conducted smoothly and with heartfelt participation.
