Swati Morzaria, Founder of Sarvam Educational Foundation and Yoga Chikitsa Sahayaka, was felicitated with the prestigious Yoga Lakshmi Puraskar on April 5, 2025, at Prashanti Kutiram, S-VYASA University, during Yoga Shakti Sangama 2025—an International Conference on the “Holistic Approach of Yoga for Women Empowerment.”
The award recognizes her outstanding contributions to the field of special education through yoga. She received the honour from eminent dignitaries including Yoga Ratna and Yoga Guru H. R. Nagendra, Dr. R. Nagarathna (Dean, Division of Yoga and Life Sciences, S-VYASA), Dr. A. Subramaniam (S-VYASA), and Shri Bhawar Lal Arya ji (Chairman, IYA Karnataka).
In her acceptance, Swati dedicated the award to her guru Yogacharya Mahesh Natarajan, Founder and Chief Advisor of Sarvam Educational Foundation and Sarvam School, reaffirming her belief that yoga is a powerful path forward for individuals with special needs.
The SARVAM team, including students, parents, and faculty, had the honour of performing at the conference. Their presentation—centered on the yogic concepts of Silence and Dynamism—artistically portrayed the emotional interplay between parental expectations and youthful resistance.
