NIRAMAYA launches ‘Yoga Chetana Mahotsav 2025’ with 100+ programs across north-east India

NIRAMAYA, an Associate Centre of the Indian Yoga Association and accredited by the Yoga Certification Board (Ministry of AYUSH), has inaugurated its 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY) celebration with a grand initiative titled “Yoga Chetana Mahotsav – 2025”, running from March 8 to June 21, 2025.

As part of this large-scale celebration, NIRAMAYA has already conducted 14 impactful programs in March, spanning institutions like Cachar Cancer Hospital, Kabuganj Janata College, and Rashtra Sevika Samiti Karyalaya.

A highlight of the March events was the special workshop on “Women’s Wellness and Yogic Practices” at Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, where doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers actively participated. Their feedback hailed the session as “rejuvenating and refreshing.” Similarly, at Janata College, faculty members experienced the benefits of holistic well-being through yoga.

The sessions were conducted by NIRAMAYA’s dedicated team including Shatakshi Bhattacharjee (Zonal Coordinator, North-East IYA and Director, NIRAMAYA), Divya Geetanand Rahul, Shubhankar Saha, Ratul Chakraborty, and Pallab Dey.

In April 2025, NIRAMAYA is scheduled to conduct over 50 programs across various sectors as part of this campaign.
Notably, NIRAMAYA also participated in the 100 Years Celebration of Ramakrishna Mission, Silchar, marking a deeply blessed moment for the institute.
