S-VYASA University: Pioneering Yoga as an Evidence-Based Science

S-VYASA University, a founding Member Institution of the Indian Yoga Association (IYA), continues to lead the integration of traditional yogic science with modern research. At the heart of this pioneering work is the Anveshana Research Institute, dedicated to unlocking human potential through yoga and scientific inquiry.

Currently, Anveshana is conducting a groundbreaking study on Vidyut Jammwal, a martial artist known for his extraordinary physical abilities. Using advanced Biowell testing techniques, researchers have found his chakras to be exceptionally balanced—an insight that underscores the power of yogic discipline and Kalaripayattu practices. Dr. Nagendra attributes Vidyut’s remarkable willpower and mental strength to his deep engagement with yoga.

This research is expected to have a significant impact on Indian athletes, Olympians, and sports professionals, enhancing their performance through a scientific understanding of yoga. S-VYASA remains at the forefront of evidence-based yoga education, continuously expanding its research and global influence.
