IYA represents at Inter-School Yoga event in Assam

As the Zonal Coordinator (North-East) of the Indian Yoga Association (IYA), it was a privilege to represent the association as a Special Guest at the Inter-School Yoga Competition held on November 2, 2024. Organized by Al Hira National Senior Secondary School, Badarpur, in collaboration with ‘Khoj,’ a sports and social organization, the event was a significant step towards promoting yoga education among students.

The Indian Yoga Association proudly supported this initiative, underscoring its commitment to spreading awareness of yoga’s transformative benefits among the younger generation. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, reflecting the growing interest in integrating yoga into the educational framework.

Dr. Ajit Kumar Bhattacharjee, Chairman of Niramaya, and Divya Geetanand, Chief Coordinator of Niramaya, were also present, adding their support to this impactful event. Congratulations to all the participants and winners for their dedication and effort. Grateful for the opportunity to promote the ethos of yoga and wellness to inspire a healthier and more mindful future generation.
