RVIM students experience transformative Yoga and Meditation at Pyramid Valley International

From July 30 to August 1, 2024, the RV Institute of Management (RVIM), an Associate Centre of IYA, organized a visit to Pyramid Valley International, Bengaluru for its MBA first-year students. This initiative, part of the 2-credit Health and Wellness Program, aimed to deepen students’ understanding of yoga and holistic practices in promoting overall well-being.
Upon arrival, students were welcomed and introduced to the center’s mission, emphasizing yoga and meditation’s role in achieving mental clarity, emotional balance, and physical health. The day began with a 30-minute yoga session led by an expert instructor, focusing on fundamental postures and breathing techniques to enhance relaxation and flexibility. The session underscored the importance of integrating yoga into daily routines to manage stress and improve concentration.

Following the yoga practice, students engaged in a guided meditation session within Pyramid Valley’s iconic pyramid structure. This unique experience allowed students to explore pyramid meditation, believed to amplify energy and deepen the meditative state. The session provided insights into the science behind pyramid meditation and its benefits for inner peace.

The visit offered students practical tools for self-care and mindfulness, enriching their academic journey and equipping them with essential skills for personal and professional growth. The experience highlighted the significance of integrating yoga and meditation into everyday life, fostering a balanced and mindful approach to challenges.
