RVIM commemorates International Women’s Day

In commemoration of International Women’s Day, the Mahila Vibhag – Women’s Cell of Kriya and Adhyatma Yoga Academy, in partnership with RV Institute of Management, Associate Center of Indian Yoga Association organised Mahila Yoga Mela. This international conference was scheduled on March 17, 2024 at RV Institute of Management. It was dedicated to exploring the “Holistic Approach of Yoga for Women’s Wellness.”

The Mahila Yoga Mela was a testament to the commitment to women’s holistic health and empowerment. Through a series of scientific and thoughtful presentations led by renowned experts, attendees delved into various aspects of women’s wellness through the lens of yoga. The event was a convergence of enlightenment and empowerment, featuring talks by experts in the field of yoga. The 150 plus attendees included yoga teachers, medical & wellness professionals, counsellors, dieticians and students, who benefitted from the valuable sessions which were part of this event.

One of the highlights of the conference was Yogalakshmi Puraskara, an esteemed recognition bestowed upon women who have significantly contributed to the advancement of yoga. Throughout the event, participants were engaged in enlightening talks covering a wide range of topics tailored to women’s unique needs like Spiritual Sutra for Successful Stree, Vedic Wellness for WOW Women: Discovering ancient Vedic wisdom and its relevance in promoting well-being among women, Heartful Mothers for Healthy Kids, Scientific Pranayama, Mindful Aging for Mind-Blowing Women, Cook Well Eat Well Be Well, Melody is the Best Remedy, Dance and Take a Chance.
