The meeting of Andhra Pradesh State Chapter of Indian Yoga Association was held on April 19, 2023, at Rishi Vatika, China Avutupalli, Gannavaram, NTR Dt., Andhra Pradesh at 4 pm. The meeting was attended by the Prof. K. Subrahmanyam, Chairperson, Shri V.V. Rama Rao, Senior Vice Chairperson, Shri Satya Sridhar Akkineni, Secretary, Shri Ravi Tumuluri, States Coordinator and Shri Srinivas, Patanjali, Shri Mohan Gantayat and Shri Raghavandra.
In the meeting it was discussed that the State Chapter should also be part of sports activities and competitions to popularize yoga at the grassroots level through various types of competitions and sports.
The members were requested to promote its functions and improve the membership drive. Names were also suggested for the reappointment of the SCC members. It was decided that a meeting of the core group will be held shortly to discuss further detail.
