Chandigarh SCC celebrates Teacher’s Day

Chandigarh State Chapter Committee of Indian Yoga Association celebrated Teacher’s day on 5th of September, 2021 by holding a cultural web program thereby honouring the teachers who have associated the IYA Chandigarh chapter to popularise yoga among the school children as well as among COVID patients.
The teachers who were honoured included Smt. Anu Gupta, English Mistress Senior Secondary School Gharuan, Smt. Ravinder Kaur Bawa, Teacher, ITBP Bhanu and Smt. Krishan Pal Mehta.

Besides yog shikshaks who had done great work by giving yog and pranayam training to the COVID patients during their ailment and helped them to come out of the corona trauma safe and sound were honoured namely Smt. Shashi Bansal, Smt. Aruna Sharma, Shri Ajit Handa, Shri Pardeep Agnihotri, Smt. Anjna Chauhan, Smt. Iqbal Kaur and Shri MN Pandey.

In the online cultural programme the school children sang songs of appreciation for the teachers, read poems and some danced expressing joy. Speech of the little ones was very impressive as to how this day came to be celebrated.
