The second meeting of Yoga National Committee and Technical Committee meeting of Healthcare Sector Skill Council was held on June 3, 2020 from 11am- 12 noon & 12noon- 2pm respectively. The third meeting of Yoga National Committee meeting was held from 10.30 am- 11.30 am on June 26, 2020.
The second meeting of Yoga National Committee discussed adoption of Skill India affiliation and Certification process. New job roles to be developed as a career progression for existing yoga professionals including yoga therapy assistant was identified. The existing BWSSC QP NOS and MC were reviewed for changes required as per industry requirements. HSSC collaboration during Yoga Day with IYA was also discussed.
