To take yoga to another level, 4th State Level Yogasana Championship 2020 was organised by TamilNadu Sports Yogasana Association on February 16, 2020 in co-ordination with Indian Yoga Association, Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER)- Faculty of Yoga Sciences and Therapy. The venue for the competition was Infosys Hall, Ramakrishna Mission Mat.Hr.Sec.School, Chennai.
Members of Pondicherry State Chapter and TamilNadu State Chapter of Indian Yoga Association came together for the event.
Dr.R.Elangovan (Professor&Head, Faculty of Yoga Sciences and Therapy, MAHER and Secretary, TamilNadu State Chapter, Indian Yoga Association) was present as the Chief Guest for the event. Shri R.Jayakumar ji (Administrative Officer- The Chennai Metropolitian Co-op.Housing Society Ltd.), Yogi Dr. TA Krishnan (Founder & Director- Thirumoolar Yoga & Natural Diet Trust) and Yogicharini Smt.Devasena Bhavanani (General Secretary-Yoganjali Natyalayam, Pondicherry) were the special guest. Shri Lion M.Babu (President), Yogi P.Nehru (Vice President) and Yogachemmal M.Ravi Arumugam (General Secretary) of the Tamilnadu Sports Yogasana Association marked their presence as the Guests of Honour.
