As part of its ongoing efforts to promote Yoga and holistic well-being, the Uttar Pradesh State Chapter Committee of IYA organized a Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) practice session on 2 June 2026 at Sadbhavana Park, Jankipuram, Lucknow.
The session was conducted in accordance with the Common Yoga Protocol prescribed by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and aimed to encourage regular Yoga practice while raising awareness about its numerous physical, mental, and emotional benefits.
The programme was led by Yoga Acharya Suresh Dubey Ji, who guided participants through a systematic series of Yogasanas, Pranayama, and relaxation techniques. Under his expert instruction, the practitioners performed the practices with enthusiasm and discipline in a peaceful outdoor setting.
The session emphasized the importance of Yoga as an effective tool for enhancing physical fitness, mental calmness, and overall well-being. Participants experienced the benefits of mindful movement, breath awareness, and relaxation, reinforcing the role of Yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The programme reflected the growing interest in Yoga among community members and supported the vision of the Ministry of AYUSH to promote traditional Indian systems of health and wellness.
