VYAS Kolkata hosts yoga awareness camp to promote One World, One Health

As part of the Yoga Teacher Training Programme, Vivekananda Yoga Abhyas Sanstha (VYAS Kolkata), an Associate Centre of the Indian Yoga Association, organized a Yoga Awareness Camp on May 4, 2025, at Keshav Bhawan, Kolkata.

Dedicated to the theme “One World, One Health through Yoga,” the event reflected the Government of India’s vision for International Yoga Day. The full-day camp featured an inaugural session, practical demonstrations, and theoretical explorations of yoga, empowering both teachers and participants alike.

Esteemed guests included Dr. N.P. Singh, Director of Pravati Vidyapith, Yoga Sadhak Shri Ranjay Das, and Shri Madhumay Nath, All India Secretary of Kreeda Bharati. The programme was skillfully managed by VYAS Kolkata team members including Shri Ashish Kumar Pal, Shri Pranav Sihi, and others. Thirty trained teachers participated actively to spread the message of a drug-free, yogic lifestyle. The event served as an inspiring platform to share knowledge, deepen practice, and unite the community under the healing umbrella of yoga.
