Deepam Yogalaya attempts NOVA World Record

Deepam Yogalaya & Kids Academy, Tambaram in association with Nova World Record, on March 11, 2023 attempted NOVA World Record to mark the occasion of 112th International Women’s Day. As many as 112 girls and women performed 112 asanas.
The women and girls were chosen in the age group between 7 and 70. Dr Selvalakshmi presided over the event delivering a speech on ‘Importance of yoga for women and their wellness’.

The entire event was monitored and supervised by Nova World Record Team at every stage. Instructions on the asanas were given by Ms H Deepa, Founder, Deepam Yogalaya & Kids Academy providing adequate relaxation asanas so that the women and girls can complete 112 asanas with ease. Upon successful completion of achieving the World Record Attempt, the participants were given medals and certificates. It was first ever major event by Deepam Yogalaya which was conducted in a seamless manner. An award to this extent was conferred by Nova World Record to Deepam Yogalaya.
