The Assam State Chapter Committee of Indian Yoga Association held a meeting on May 21, 2023 at Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva Vishwavidyalay. The meeting was attended by President Shri PhookaN, President, Dr. Ujjwal Maske, Vice President and Shri Hiren, Treasurer and others.
It was decided to conduct few activities including workshops for next three months in different areas to enhance the visibility of IYA, Raj Yoga will be conducted by Brahma Kumari from May 22- 31, 2023, a 7 days program from June 15-20, 2023 will be conducted by Ishan Yoga Research Foundation, program to be conducted by Niramaya Yoga and an event at Art of Living Ashram on July 22, 2023. The members also decided to meet twice every month on alternate Saturdays to speed up the work.
