Yoga Guru Swami Adhyatmananda Maharaj attained mahasamadhi on May 8, 2021 at the age of 77 years. He was the Head of Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad. A great teacher, writer, orator, singer, multi-linguist, multi-tasking, Vedanti and great Yoga Maestro who has produced almost 6000 plus Yoga Teachers all over the world. He represented India for the World Peace Conference at Chiapas, New Mexico in 1999, and was a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the India Canada Culture.
