Indian Yoga Association is happy to announce that the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Puducherry has awarded Puduvai Kalaimamani Award to Dr Ananda Balayogi Bhavanani, Joint Secretary, IYA for his contribution in the field of Indian dance Bharat Natyam. The award ceremony was held on the occasion of the 133rd Birth Anniversary of Poet Bharathidasan on April 29, 2023 at Kamban Kalaiarangam, Puducherry. Hon’ble Lt.Governor of Puducherry Dr Tamilasai Sounthrarajan was the Chief Guest and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Puducherry Shri N.Rangaswamy presided the event. The event also saw the presence of Hon’ble speaker Shri R.Selvam, Hon’ble Minister of Public Works Shri K.Lakshminarayanan, Hon’ble Minister for Art and Culture Smt Chandra Priyanka.
