Rajasthan State Chapter of IYA met online on December 31, 2020 from 7-8 pm on Google Meet. The meeting discussed the activities to be undertaken in the forthcoming months to promote and propagate Yoga through IYA.
During the discussion, Shri Suryapratap Singh Rajawat, Vice Chairperson stated that we should request all the Member Institution to organise an online program to promote yoga, Indian civilisation, traditions and culture every month. Respective members including Dr. Swatantra Kumar Sharma, Secretary, Shri Himanshu Paliwal, Joint Secretary (Social Media) and the Vice Chairperson took the responsibility for the same.
Shri Purnendu Sharma, Joint Secretary (Co- Research) suggested that keeping in mind the weather of Rajasthan, programs should be organised focusing on the routines according to the weather.
A need of a brochure highlighting the initiative and endeavours by IYA was brought out. It was also decided to be prepared well for the forthcoming programs. Shri Suryapratap Singh Rajawat during the discussion informed everyone that Rajasthan Government is opening Yoga and Wellness center in all the districts and how IYA can help them in fulfilling their requirement of Yoga teachers.
