West Bengal State Chapter Committee met on June 6, 2020 to discuss the progress of the activities undertaken by the State Chapter and how to streamline procedures so as to make the working easier.
The meeting was attended by members of the SCC namely Shri Chandrakant Rathore,
Vice Chairperson, Dr. Abhijit Ghosh, Secretary, Shri Subhendu Acharya, Joint Secretary, Jaba
Mitra, Joint Secretary and Swami Kirtipradananda, Joint Secretary, Shri Sisir Biswas, Joint Secretary, Shri Joyhari Jana, Treasurer, Priti Nandi, Member, Shambhuraj Pandit, Member, Ananta Kumar Bhukta, Member, Ajanta Acharyya Banerjee, Member, Mahamaya Roy and Smt Thrushal Sunman, Mrs. Ankita Pandey, and Mrs. Bhavna Puri from IYA Secretariat also marked their presence.
Discussion about memberships, Associate Centre Activities for betterment of Yoga promotion, Yogasana Competition at Siliguri found its place in the meeting. Proposal for ‘Awareness Camp’ in schools, colleges, NGOs, clubs, universities and other govt. and non govt. organizations jointly with IYA State Chapter and Associate Centre was put forward.
Student engagement activities and awareness programs were the highlight of the State Chapter meeting.
