YVN hosts conference on Yoga for Peace and Prosperity

On November 17, 2024, YVN, Vashi, fulfilled the long-cherished dream of Shri Nimbalkar Guruji by hosting its Annual Yoga Conference under the theme “Yoga for Peace and Prosperity.” This landmark event brought together stalwarts from diverse fields to share their insights, creating a transformative atmosphere. YVN General Secretary, Shri Rajendra Joshi, highlighted YVN’s 50-year legacy and its ongoing commitment to yoga and humanity.

The event commenced with traditional Omkar chanting and prayers, setting a serene tone. Esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Shubhada Joshi, Dr. Uma Shankar, Dr. Ulka Natu-Gadam, and CA Chandrashekhar N. Vaze, were felicitated for their contributions. Keynote addresses touched on topics like yoga for leadership, global unity, and wellness, resonating deeply with the audience.
The conference featured research presentations across two sessions, chaired by respected personalities such as Shri Ravindranath Bodhe and Dr. Raghunath Athle. Topics ranged from yoga’s impact on immunity and mental health to its role in education and ancient wisdom. Each session fostered meaningful dialogue, with presenters receiving mementos and feedback.

The day concluded with an engaging session on the “Learnings from Valmiki Ramayan” by CA Chandrasekhar Vaze, followed by heartfelt gratitude expressed in the vote of thanks. The program ended with the resonant Pasayadan, leaving attendees inspired and reaffirming YVN’s dedication to yoga’s transformative power.
