To mark the Countdown to International Day of Yoga 2025, Life Health & Wellness Centre, Project ‘Life’ Rajkot, in conjunction with the Indian Yoga Association, curated a series of impactful and engaging yoga workshops designed for holistic well-being. These thoughtfully designed events reached diverse groups across age, profession, and lifestyle needs, reflecting the inclusive spirit and therapeutic essence of yoga.
Rejuvenating ‘Face Yoga’ workshop
A specialized session on Face Yoga saw the enthusiastic participation of 30 individuals. Focused on toning facial muscles and enhancing natural radiance, the workshop taught techniques to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and signs of stress. Breathing and acupressure practices improved circulation and released facial tension, particularly from the forehead and jaw. The session left participants feeling refreshed and beautifully reconnected with themselves, blending beautification, mindfulness, and emotional harmony.
Five-Day ‘Suddhikriya and Pranayama’ workshop
Conducted by Yogacharya Shri Vivek Tiwari Ji, this early-morning workshop offered deep internal cleansing and breath awareness training to 20 participants. Classical yogic kriyas like Jal Neti and Kapalabhati were practiced with care and precision, alongside structured Pranayama techniques such as Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, and Ujjayi. Emphasizing posture, individual capacity, and progressive learning, the workshop instilled clarity, vitality, and meditative depth—truly embodying yogic self-purification.
‘Yoga for Lifestyle Disorders’ workshop
This five-day evening workshop from May 26–30, 2025 , also led by Shri Vivek Tiwari Ji, focused on using yoga as a therapeutic tool to manage lifestyle disorders like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and stress. Incorporating gentle asanas, breathwork, and guided meditation, the sessions addressed nervous system regulation, hormonal balance, and digestion. Real-life case studies, dietary suggestions, and Ayurvedic insights added value, leaving the 26 participants inspired and empowered with sustainable wellness tools.
Month-long ‘Kids Summer Camp’
A vibrant and joyful experience for children aged 5 to 12 years, this month-long camp engaged 29 enthusiastic children in daily 90-minute sessions combining yoga, storytelling, games, and creative activities. With animal-themed poses and interactive exercises, children improved balance, focus, and discipline. The programme nurtured teamwork, resilience, and self-confidence, ending on a high note with certificates, gifts, and the promise of joyful returns next summer.
Exclusive workshop for medical professionals with IMA
In line with the mission to support community wellness, a complimentary yoga workshop was curated specifically for doctors in partnership with the Indian Medical Association (IMA). With 99 doctors registered, the two-week workshop—conducted in two morning batches—addressed work-specific stressors unique to the medical profession. The sessions were applauded for their relevance, simplicity, and effectiveness. A regular yoga module for doctors is scheduled to follow, open to those interested in continuing the practice
