Spinach Uttapam offers goodness of Spinach and a blend of essential nutrients. It is rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, folate, vitamin A & C. Spinach in rich in fiber, aids in weight, improves eyesight, and can even reverse blindness. Cumin seeds are anti-diabetic, antiseptic and is a metabolic stimulator.
Ingredients
Urad Dal ½ cups
Oats Powder 1 cup
Carrot, grated 1 tbsp
Tomato, chopped 1 (30 g)
Spinach ½ cup puree
Cumin powder ½ tsp
Amchur Powder ¼ tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Salt ¼ tsp
Oil For greasing
Method
Grind the sprouts and spinach separately into a smooth paste and transfer in a bowl. Add oats powder, coriander powder, cumin poder, salt, amchur powder, and mix well.
In a pan, put ghee and spread little thick batter. Add tomato and carrot on it and let it cook. Then flip it and let it cook until it turns slightly brown.
Transfer it on a plate and serve it with a chutney of your choice.
