I have named this chutney ‘Cholestrol Chutney’ as it is helpful to maintain healthy or normal cholesterol (Lipid profile). Otherwise the components are from the traditional rural Indian dry Chutneys.
Ingredients
Flax seeds (Javas/Alashi): 1 tbs
Niger seeds (Karale) : 1 tbs
Sunflower seeds (Sooryafool): 1 tbs
Sesame (Til) both white & black: 1 tbs
Ground nut (Shengadana/Moongaphali): 1 tbs
Red Chilli: According to the taste
Salt: According to the taste
Method
Take all the ingredients in equal quantities.
Warm them in the pan. Do not roast them. Roasting removes moisture.
They will be easily crushed/grinded. During grinding you may add red chili and salt as per taste.
This stock chutney can be consumed daily with you meal by pouring little raw filtered oil (avoid refined oil altogether)
You may use the chutney for 25 to 30 days at least.
