Gujarat SCC meets online to discuss progress 

The Indian Yoga Association organized a virtual meeting on December 20, 2023, to discuss various aspects related to the functioning and progress of the various chapter. Shri Atul Bhandari ji, the Central Coordinator of IYA, led the meeting, introducing himself and extending a warm welcome to all participants.

One of the key points discussed during the meeting was the progress of the Gujarat Chapter and the initiation to open bank account for Gujarat State Chapter Committee. It was emphasized that this process needed to be expedited to facilitate the smooth functioning of the chapter. Additionally, discussions were held regarding the upcoming events planned by IYAGC.

The committee members deliberated on the upcoming event, the ‘Akhand Bharat Yoga Parisamvad,’ which is planned to mark the 5th Foundation Day of IYAGC. The event aims to celebrate the rich heritage of yoga in the context of a united Bharat (India). Distinguished personalities, including Acharya Birju Maharaj, Chairperson of IYAGC, Smt Meetal Koticha Shah, Senior Vice-Chairperson, Shri Vikram Mistry, Ms. Bhakti Shah, Shri Grajesh Sharms, and Shri Rajeev Mishra, were present in the meeting to contribute their insights and suggestions for the successful organization of this event.

The participants actively engaged in discussions, exchanged ideas, and shared their perspectives on how to make the virtual celebration impactful. It was decided that a detailed plan would be formulated, and responsibilities would be assigned to ensure the smooth execution of the event.

In conclusion, the virtual meeting of the IYA Gujarat Chapter on 20th December 2023 served as a platform for collaboration, coordination, and planning for the future activities of the chapter. The committee expressed its commitment to the goals of promoting yoga and its holistic benefits in the community.
