Yogi Divine Society, Akshardham Powai, Mumbai with IYA organized a 3 day yoga camp from December 23– 25, 2022 on the theme ‘Relation of body alignment and physical structure’. The camp began with the ceremonial lighting of lamp by the temple Saints Ashwin Bhai and Meena Behen. Ms Renu Soman introduced the participants on the contents of the camp and also gave a detailed introduction about the main speaker Dr. Deepak Parmar addressed the participants on the topic of Aahar (food) as mentioned in our Shastras and also with reference to Ayurveda and Naturopathy. Concept of pancha pranas and related asanas were covered.
On the second day, an interactive session aimed at significance of breathing right, importance of posture and body alignment was held. Speaking about the right technique of breathing, Dr Parmar stressed on how important it is to breathe right in to the mooladhara chakra and also exhale from the mooladhara. In the third day’s practice, concept of aura and effect of Mantra chanting on the aura through Patanjali’s Yoga sutra ‘Tasya Vachakah Pranavah’ were focused upon.
