Technique:-
Sit with your legs together, extending them outward in front of you. Place the hands by the sides of the body with the palms on the ground and fingers pointing forward.
Fold the right leg at the knee and place the right foot under the right buttock with the sole of the foot underneath the buttock and the heel to the outside.
In a similar manner, bend the left leg and place it under the left buttock. Rest your hands on your respective thighs.

Sit erect and gaze in front or close the eyes.
While returning to the original position, bend a little towards the right side, remove your left leg from under your buttock and extend it forward.
Similarly, extend your right leg and return to the original position.

Remember:-
While bending your leg at the knee and placing your foot underneath the buttock the heel should remain out and the toes inside. Your soles should face upward
Do not sit directly on the heels.
Benefits and Limitations:-
This strengthens the thigh and calf muscles.
Those suffering from piles should not practice it.
