Webisode 20: Pranayama: Why, When and How
On April 3, 2022, Swami Bharat Bhushan ji spoke in detail about pranayama. He explained that the things which seems to have no energy, if processed can gain energy. Coal which has no energy but when connected with fire gets the power to pull the entire train. It means that things that might seem lifeless or energy-less can also be processed and energised. Everything has prana.
When we combine cosmic prana and individual prana we attain completeness. It looks very easy when said, but to achieve this state we have to be full of prana. Perfection can be achieved when the entire prana of our body gets focused. This is pranayama.
In earlier episodes, he has stressed upon starting with pranayama 3 times a day but also mentioned that if you are unable to do it thrice make it twice or start with even once. It will definitely make a difference and bring improvement. He said that we should start with Nirapad Pranayama which includes Nadi Shuddhi pranayama and Brahmari pranayama. “These pranayamas should be practiced by every sadhak and rest of the pranayamas can be done as per the requirements.”
Explaining the importance of various pranayamas, he said, “The weather is changing and we are heading towards excessive heat. During the weather change we should do Ujjayi pranayama and when it settles down we should practice Shitli and Shitkari pranayama, which should be ended with Brahmari pranayama.”
Webisode 21: Yoga in Daily Life
On April 10, 2022, Swami Bharat Bhushan ji explained how yoga can change our lives and have the power to completely transform our perspective towards life.

We easily get distracted. There is a lot of attractions in this market of life. We came here for bliss but got ourselves stuck in pleasures. Instead of attaining peace we get busy with finding peace. It is important that we adopt yoga in our daily lives to be focused.
Yoga Sadhna does not expect any reaction from us, it makes us curious and makes sure that we reach the end of a problem. If we are unable to find solution, the problem remains the same and hence the anxiety and stress. Yoga is not about asana or pranayama or philosophy or it is not merely a mental exercise.
Yog Sadhna lets you understand the true meaning of happiness. It allows you to explore happiness that is beyond our body, heart and senses. It lets you ponder into that world of happiness that our saints experienced but have not been able to put in words. That is called realisation. It can only be experienced but not explained or written in words. It is kindness, mercy, compassion and coexistence. It is great and at the same time it is subtle.
Yog Sadhna allows you to be patience and overcome restlessness.
Webisode 22: Practicing Meditation with Complete Attention
On April 17, 2022, Swami Bharat Bhushan ji stressed on preparing once body for dhyana. He went on to explain that everything in the world moves to its origin. Our original form is bliss, it is eternal, it’s peace and light. Even in the worst of the conditions, we want to attain a state where we can enjoy bliss, peace and light; light under the open sky or that of knowledge.

Even a person on death bed wants to live because its essence in eternal. The body is not permanent. God has given us this body as a medium. We use it as a medium to reach the light, to attain beauty and to achieve this Yoga sadhna is the way forward.
For realisation, to attain ultimate happiness, we need regular practice of yoga sadhna. Like before playing any sport warm up is important, before doing yoga few preliminary asanas are mandatory similarly for a sadhak before sitting for dhyana, the body should be well prepared.
So let us understand the things that we need to do on daily basis to be prepared. Preparation is not merely physical, it is internal as well. Along with our muscles our internal organs should be well-prepared to support it. We need this body to be fit till we are alive for performing worldly deeds and also for supernatural achievements. We should keep our body in a condition where it is safe and our sadhna can remain uninterrupted. Thereafter, Swamiji performed those kriyas that should be done for preparing ourselves for dhyana.
