Rajasthan SC organised a 3-day online workshop on ‘Yoga for Wellbeing’ from 16-18, October 2020. The event was inaugurated by Shri Vinod Parik, Chairperson, Rajasthan State Chapter. Shri Kapil Dev Kesari, Organising Secretary, highlighted the work and the aims of Indian Yoga Association.
The program saw more than 250 people registering for the event.
The day 1 of the workshop was spearhead by Shri Purnendu Sharma, Joint Secretary (Co- Research) who took a session on Sukshma Vyayama and Pranayama.
On the second day, Shri Kapil Dev Kesari explained in detail the scientific benefits of the asanas practiced on the first day. He also highlighted the asanas that benefit our central nervous system.
On the third day, Shri Swatantra Sharma talked about how one should aware of the changes in the body and mind that occur while practicing yoga and pranayama.
The workshop concluded with Shri Vinod Parik, Chairperson of the State Chapter informing everyone that the State Chapter would not only keep organising such workshops, but will also arrange for resources to make career in the field of yoga.
