In these difficult times of COVID-19 where social proximity has to be avoided, SKY Yoga from World Community Service Centre in one-of-its-kinds of online initiative has been teaching their foundation course as complimentary to IYA staff online. The 12 days foundation course started on May 25, 2020. In the 90 minutes session, SKY Yoga has been covering topics like introduction to SKY Yoga, importance of Simplified Physical Exercise, introduction to Kayakalpa yoga and importance of Life Energy, introduction to SKY Meditation, introduction to SKY Introspection, importance of Blessings and Benefits.
The course also includes 10 days of introductory workshop on Simplified Kundalini Yoga, practical sessions on Simplified Physical Exercises and introspection Exercises.
World Community Service Centre (WCSC), a non-profit registered society with a view to work towards World Peace through individual peace. Swami Vethathiri Maharishi founded WCSC in 1958. The WCSC is the vehicle to teach the psychic and physical practices synthesized by Vethathiri Maharishi to achieve realization through introspection, purification and meditation. WCSC is the Member Institute of IYA.
The entire IYA team is enthusiastically participating in the introductory course. Sapna Devi, Shri Sunman M Madhava and Shri Parmindar Singh. Prof Dr K Perumal, Director of Vision Academy and WCSC Team conducted the sessions.
