The work being carried on by the Indian Yoga Association can hardly be summed up in a few words. To do what we are doing is a mammoth task that one can go on writing about and it will never be enough. Yoga is a precious jewel in the crown of India. It is one of our most ancient gifts to the whole world and is a treasure of wisdom that can change lives. When something so invaluable is concerned, it is extremely important to safeguard it from anyone who tries to exploit or abuse it.
IYA relentlessly protects all Yoga paramparas, setting high standards for quality and holding institutions accountable for upholding them. We maintain a strict accreditation process that carries the most trusted seal of approval globally. We are constantly seeking new and groundbreaking research, organizing seminars and conferences and bringing together leaders in the field to systematize Yogic knowledge and develop innovative ways forward for the Yoga community throughout the world.
This is just the tip of the iceberg of everything that IYA is constantly doing to protect our heritage and legacy. I feel honored and blessed to serve as the Senior Vice President of this great organization. As we launch our newsletters, I wish the team my heartiest congratulations on this latest endeavor to spread the goodness of Yoga, and I welcome our readers to this amazing family!
Happy & healthy reading!
